Have you ever met someone and got such a good vibe from them that you couldn’t help but like them insantly? That’s how I felt about Katie and Tim. Sweet and loving, this couple not only makes a great pair, but their families and the people they surround themselves with seem to share those traits as well. They also happen to share a fun-loving nature as the dance floor was packed all night! LOVED this wedding!

I have to say, this was one FUN wedding! Maybe it had something to do with Craig and Courtney being friends of my family (my brother was a groomsman), but I don’t think so. After looking through all the photos from the day, there is no way anyone could say they were not having a good time! Even if you’re a wallflower who doesn’t do much dancing, there was plenty of entertainment. Whether it was watching a group mugging for the camera, someone dancing on a chair or even the bride and groom climbing to the top of a human pyramid, you can’t say it was boring! Yes, I did say a human pyramid. Told you it was fun. =-)

Beth and Charlie were married at St. Catherine of Sienna in Norwood, MA and had their reception at Raffael’s in Walpole. Seriously sweet couple! So many times during the evening, I caught one of them looking at the other in such a loving way that you’d have to be blind not to see their adoration for each other. It was heartwarming and I felt privileged to be there on their day.

Jesslyn and Matt

I had the pleasure of photographing Jesslyn and Matt’s wedding on a gorgeous fall day. Their ceremony was in Newton and the reception was at Spring Valley Country Club in Sharon. By the way, the coordinator there, Will, is FABULOUS! Check out the photos below to get a taste of how great their wedding was.

I teared up when she was going down the stairs and her Dad was saying the sweetest things.

I thought it was funny how the priest was not looking when they kissed.

The speeches were very heartfelt.

I’ll give you one guess as to their table number.

Jesslyn’s Dad loves Dancing With the Stars, so their father/daughter dance was scored. =-)

Becky and Dave’s wedding was such a good time! It was so fun and there were so many people dancing at the reception that we stayed on for a bit longer than planned. I was glad we did because they had a sparkler send-off! I love those!!!

Danielle and Jon Maternity Session

I was so excited to hear the big news that Danielle and Jon are having a baby! I photographed their wedding a couple years ago as well as her sister’s last year and have really enjoyed getting to know them. Needless to say, I was overjoyed at shooting their maternity portraits. Little Averi’s due in November, so stay tuned for her first portrait session!

What a petite little baby belly. =-)

I cried laughing on this shot because the A would not stay in place and we were laughing so hard about it that all of them were jiggling off, which made us laugh even more! We ended up taping the A on.

Love this. I think she looks so serene.

Katie and Tim’s Engagement Session

We went into Boston for super cute Katie and Tim’s engagement session. More specifically, we were at the Rose Kennedy Park near the Boston Harbor Hotel where Tim proposed. Once we got some beautiful shots there, we headed over to the hotel/Rowe’s Wharf for some more photo fun. I can’t wait for their wedding!

This is the spot where he proposed. I’d fathom a guess that this isn’t the first time they’ve kissed there. =-)

Cindy and Ryan had their ceremony and reception at the Stage Neck Inn in York, Maine. The ceremony was outdoors with the ocean and sky as their backdrop. Gorgeous! Inside, the reception room had a cool raised section which came in handy for shooting the dancing from above. I was impressed with how full the dance floor was. Quite a fun crowd!

Lauren and Leandro

Although this family is far-flung across the globe, from England to Brazil, they managed to all come together at Lauren’s family’s cottage here in MA. The church couldn’t be any more “New England” and the weather was gorgeous! After the ceremony, we went back to the lakeside cottage for a fun, casual reception. A while into the reception, Lauren was up for some extra portraits, so we had some fun with that. The cottage has been in her family for generations, so it was wonderful to create some portraits of her in a place that is so dear to her heart. Leandro and his buddies were certainly enjoying themselves as well, going for a little dip in the lake! What a fun day!

She’s kind of a ring girl. =-) These are her wedding rings from the other ceremonies they had to celebrate their marriage. And I had enough stress planning ONE wedding!

Since Lauren was hanging out barefoot anyway, I borrowed her shoes for this shot. I thought it looked pretty cool, if I do say so myself!

Yes, that would be the groom on the top of the pyramid. And yes, 4 out of 6 are still in their dress clothes!

It was my turn to get in the water for this portrait. Thankfully it was shallow, so rolling up my pants to my knees was sufficient. =-)

Even the kids had a blast in the pond. Kinda looks like they’re setting up a wet bar though…

Kendra and Shawn

I met up with Kendra to start the day at her parents’ house in Hollis, NH where she was getting ready. As usual, there was a lot of activity while everyone was getting dressed, doing any last-minute touch-ups, and helping the bride. Even the family dog seemed to be busy checking out everything, including the front of my lens, between a few short naps and was even waiting at the bottom of the stairs as Kendra came down, ready to become a Mrs.

The ceremony at the Crossway Christian Church went off without a hitch. Well, they GOT hitched, but you know what I mean, and we headed outside for the formals by the pond that was on the church property. After some fun there, we went to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua for the reception, where guests guests enjoyed a relaxing meal and great conversation as they celebrated Kendra and Shawn’s new marriage.

I have no idea why, but I think it’s fun to get the spray coming out of the can. Little things…

Kendra’s parents had such luscious colors around the house, like this chair. I wish I had the courage to get past the neutrals and go for more color in my house.

I love how the dog was at the bottom of the stairs as she came down. So cute!
