What a Way to Start the Year!
January 4-7, my husband and I headed to Tampa for the Digital Wedding Forum Convention. All I can say is WOW! The jam-packed schedule of seminars were so inspiring and informative, I don’t know where to begin implementing all the great ideas. Thankfully I took really good notes!

In addition, I got to meet 3 of my favorite “rock star” wedding photographers; Jerry Ghionis, Yervant and Denis Reggie. My friend Lisa took pictures of me with them. Despite having been to a seminar of Jerry’s before, I was still surprised at how accessible they were. They didn’t run off backstage when they finished their seminars, or for that much, before they even started! Yervant strolled over to Lisa and me to chat for a few minutes while he was waiting to begin his presentation to the 500+ photographers in the room. Jerry was particularly a boisterous member of the party scene. What a riot he is!

While I was off being an information junkie, Tom was enjoying Tampa and warmer weather. Ybor City appeared to hold his attention the longest though, as he perused all the cigar shops in the area. We did get to spend a few hours together one day so I could drag him to the ImagingUSA trade show, also going on in Tampa. It was hard to leave without spending a fortune, but I did it!
