The Kablik Family

•November 12, 2009 • Leave a Comment

I recently had the pleasure of taking the Kablik family’s portraits.  The weather cooperated beautifully, despite having rained quite a bit the day before and we were able to take advantage of the abundance of colorful leaves everywhere.  Man, I love fall…almost as much as I love my clients!

More goodies from Lisa and Kevin’s wedding!

It was wonderful to be in the limo with them and not having to worry about parking, traffic and getting to the hotel after them, making everyone wait to do the portraits.  I couldn’t have gotten a fun shot like this if I drove either!IMG_9827blog

Lisa and Kevin – Part One

•November 6, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Ever since their engagement session, I have been looking forward to shooting Lisa and Kevin’s wedding.  Not only are they a fabulous couple, but the location they chose for their reception, The Liberty Hotel in Boston, had LOTS of exciting spots for their photos.  Just a tip if you’re getting married there:  The lobby becomes a nightclub on the weekend and they strictly forbid you from asking anyone to give up their seats for even a moment for a picture.   It gets quite crowded too, so get your photos in as early as possible!

What also made their wedding fantastic was that I was working with my dream team… my friend, Lisa Tilley AND my brother Matt!  In addition, my cousin, Carrie was a bridesmaid and her husband, Toby was there as well… AND one of my couples from this summer, Katie and Loc, were guests too!   Even if I didn’t know a soul at the wedding, I would had the greatest time, but with all these  awesome people around, it was simply amazing!  Too bad there wasn’t much time to talk!  lol  From the moment the dancefloor was opened, it was full for the rest of the night.  What a party!

Congratulations to Lisa and Kevin!  You rock!  Hope you had a great time in Aruba!

Special thanks to Matt and Lisa for your mad skills!

Rebecca and Chris

What’s better than an October wedding in the mountains of New Hampshire?  Ok, it was a bit chilly/windy, but the sky was blue with those cotton ball clouds, the leaves were in all their glory and no one was sweating their buns off…at least not until the dancing began!  It was really gorgeous.

Matt and I started the day at the Common Man Inn for some getting ready shots.  Smart couple they were, Becca and Chris decided it would be a good idea to do their formal portraits prior to the ceremony.  We stopped at a covered bridge to do most of them, then finished up with just a few after the ceremony.  The ceremony and reception were held at the greenhouse behind the Italian Farmhouse Restaurant.  What a unique location!  Once dinner was done, the dance floor was full for the rest of the night.  Good times!

Congrats to Becca and Chris!

Tina and Mark

•October 27, 2009 • 1 Comment

Tina and Mark were married at the Martha Mary Chapel in Sudbury, MA and had their reception at Stow Acres Country Club in, you guessed it… Stow, MA.   Mark is a big golfer and has been a member for years, so it was fun to get a few shots of him swinging a club while Tina looked on.  The reception was beautiful and had unique touches, such as the rhinestone cake topper.   They also set out a box filled with ready-to-mail postcards for guests to write them a note and pop in the mail.  How cool is that?!

Congratulations to Tina and Mark!
